Project structure

In contrast to ROFMOD 4.2 and older versions, the project and file structure for ROFMOD 5.0 has been adapted:

•Now there is only one project file (*.pzip), which summarizes all scenarios contained in it.

•Scenarios are in themselves complete ROFMOD models.

•All files are saved as XML files. The project file is ZIP-compressed to optimize storage space.

Note: The project structure according to ROFMOD 4.2 with *.ROC files and *.DAT files is no longer supported.

Each project contains at least one scenario. Each scenario is an independent unit with a complete model. That means each complete scenario contains:

•Profile definition (and dam definition)

•terrain parameters

•Results of the simulation

•Layout Settings

Scenarios in a project are independent of each other. Changes in one scenario do not affect the other scenarios.
